1. Why did you pursue medicine?
I had an interest in science and medicine from a very young age. I was fascinated by the amazing way the human body worked and learning everything I could about it!
2. What made you choose pediatrics?
I chose Pediatrics because I am a big kid at heart! I love spending time with children of all ages and being involved in their lives.
3. What do you love most about your job?
My favorite part of my job is developing a relationship with my patients as I watch them grow up. I love talking sports, interests, trips, etc with my patients and getting to know them as people. It is also a lot of fun to now get to take care of children of my former patients and continue to be involved in their lives.
4. What would you tell a younger girl who wants to be a doctor?
I would encourage any girls interested in medicine to go for it! Don’t ever compromise on your dream because it may be too hard or take too long. Set a goal and work hard to achieve it. It will definitely be worth it in the end!
