Dr. Penny joined Children’s Medical Group in 2008. She is a native of Port Gibson, MS and graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering in 2000. Dr. Penny earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2004 graduating cum laude with a membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her Pediatric training at the University of California, Davis where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Penny is married with three sons and enjoys reading, exercise, and travel in her spare time.
