Dr. Lay joined Children’s Medical Group in 2018. He was born and raised in Byram, MS. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science at Mississippi State University and earned his medical degree from William Carey University COM in 2015. In medical school, he was inducted into the national honor society Sigma Sigma Phi and was voted President of the Student Government Association. He was also awarded the Dean’s Award, given annually to the most outstanding senior medical student. He completed his Pediatric Residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Lay is married with 3 children, who attend Madison Ridgeland Academy. He enjoys sports, running, and spending time with his family.
